Casualty has confirmed Rida Amaan’s return to the ED with one big change. In the last boxset, ‘Internal Affairs’, nurse Rida started a new role as part of Russell’s surgical team. The dream job soon turned into a nightmare after Russell sexually assaulted her during an operation. Though Rida looks and sounds the part, she becomes increasingly overwhelmed throughout the day with requests from Siobhan and Flynn, while also facing resistance from Ngozi and Jodie to her instructions.
