General Hospital’s Ingo Rademacher Sends Bold Political Message

In a video, the actor went all in on blaming “the left” for what happened to Kirk, sharing his opinion that Kirk was killed for free speech and nothing else.

“If you are not for free speech, then you are not for society. Most of you on the left, though, are just happy that he’s dead, just like you did when people didn’t believe in the vaccine or masks died during COVID,” he stated, adding, “It’s really disgusting.”

The former soap star went on to blast those on the left for calling people with right-wing political beliefs Nazi or fascists, saying those remarks lead to people picking up guns and shootings, and continuing to slam people with opposing views than his.

“It’s sad because that’s the only way to a functioning society, is to have an open debate and discussion and not be worried about if somebody is going to take you out for it,” Rademacher expressed.

In his caption, Rademacher echoed his sentiments communicated via his video: “Y’all on the left are violent. You don’t respect any form of debate or free speech. Some of you even celebrate when somebody on the right dies and put that shit on social media. Imagine what it would look like if us, the good guys stopped trying to talk to you snowflakes on the left. @charliekirk1776. Charlie is dead because of the constant rhetoric of calling people on the right Nazis and fascist and every other disgusting name under the sun. You call yourselves liberal and progressives, but you don’t even know what that means anymore. After President Trump‘s assassination attempt. Nobody on the left posted anything to turn down the heat. Y’all all just stayed quiet. Of course, some of you nut jobs celebrated. I don’t know where we go from here,” the actor wrote.

As Parade reported, Kirk was shot during one of his events at Utah Valley University, and the shooter remains at large.

Ingo Rademacher’s Words Leave Fans Divided

The comments section of Rademacher’s post got mixed reviews. Many thanked him for speaking out with his “true” words, agreeing with everything he said about Kirk and politics.

Others called him out for “missing the big picture” and not showing the same outrage when Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were shot and killed.

Rademacher played Jasper “Jax” Jacks on General Hospital for 25 years. However, in 2021, Rademacher was let go after he refused to comply with ABC’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

The actor sued the company, claiming he was really fired from General Hospital because of his political views. Rademacher lost the initial suit in 2023.

However, Rademacher refiled the lawsuit in December 2024, after actor Steve Burton was re-hired following his refusal to comply with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate. Burton’s return has only added more fuel to Rademacher’s claims that his political beliefs got him fired from the ABC soap.

General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
