General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will plot his next power play, so furious Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will end up feeling cornered by his enemy.

As Sidwell pointed out to Ava Jerome (Maura West), he’s not a gracious loser! Sidwell definitely wasn’t pleased over the Measure C outcome since it meant losing his chance at Sonny’s piers.

However, Sidwell isn’t the kind of guy who just throws in the towel when things don’t go his way. Instead, Sidwell improvises and tries other paths to getting what h

e wants.

GH fans know Sidwell has already been making some bold moves against Sonny and Laura Collins (Genie Francis).

After Sidwell took care of his Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) problem, he had Dalton’s body placed in Laura’s trunk.

Sidwell no doubt knew that Laura would freak out and call Sonny, so he was able to make a mess for them both.

It sent a big message, but now Sidwell is about to send yet another one.

In the December 4 episode, Sidwell will flex his power.

We’ll see some situation where Sidwell shows off his sinister side again and makes more trouble – presumably for Sonny based on GH spoilers for December 5.

That’s when Sonny will find himself feeling cornered, which is never somewhere he wants to be!

It sounds like Sidwell will find some way to gain the upper hand on Sonny and try to use this to force him to surrender his piers.

Of course, Sonny is stubborn and doesn’t like to let someone like Sidwell push him around.

There’s no guarantee that Sidwell’s plan will work, but he’s definitely going to make a power play that could leave Sonny livid.

Sidwell’s upcoming scheme could backfire if he pushes Sonny too far.

Though it’d have to be a last resort, Sonny hasn’t entirely ruled out the possibility of wiping Sidwell off the map entirely.

It’s clear that Sidwell is willing to cross some dangerous lines.

Sidwell was apparently behind Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) attack in juvie, so he isn’t afraid to use Sonny and Laura’s grandson as part of all his scheming.

Will Sidwell’s next move involve another jam for Rocco or perhaps add to Laura’s Dalton cover-up nightmare?

What will leave Sonny feeling so cornered by Sidwell in the coming episodes?

Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say some Sidwell shockers are still to come, so Sonny will have to handle the escalating threat to his loved ones.
