General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) could be the one to unlock the Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) mystery. Will Brennan discover the truth

about Nathan’s seven missing years? Toward the end of October, GH writers seem to be setting up a bit of a Nathan and Brennan rivalry.

Brennan was highly suspicious of Nathan’s memory loss and ultimately offered him immunity in exchange for information on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) syndicate.

Of course, Brennan also spelled out the consequences of turning him down since Nathan could eventually face charges of conspiracy, attempted murder and treason.

Nathan was adamant that he truly had no memory of the last seven years and shut down the idea that Faison was a real father to him.

After Nathan made it clear that he didn’t like getting pushed around, he stomped out of Brennan’s office.

Despite the dramatic display, Brennan’s instincts about Nathan may be right.

It’s possible Nathan is lying about his memory loss and just putting on this innocent act, even when he’s in private moments with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

It’s also possible that Nathan truly can’t remember, but he’s surely connected to Faison’s final project either way.

Brennan isn’t someone who tends to drop important investigations, so we can assume he’s still looking into things when it comes to Nathan.

Since there was footage of Nathan on the phone shortly before his crash, Brennan was hopeful about finding out who was on the other end of the call.

It’ll be interesting to see if Brennan can indeed nail down who Nathan was talking to.

Nathan has convinced most of Port Charles that he’s the same good guy he used to be.

Brennan didn’t know the old Nathan and is suspicious by nature, so he’s perhaps the perfect person to solve the mystery of Nathan’s missing time.

However, Brennan could put a target on his back as he gets closer to the truth.

Between the rivalry that’s developing with Nathan and the threat Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) poses, there are great reasons to fear for Brennan’s life if he learns too much.

Nathan could very well be Sidwell’s secret partner, so stay tuned for updates on whether Brennan will find out that news eventually.
